DEFENDING World 100 metres champion, Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, will open her 2022 outdoor season at Saturday's Velocity Fest meet inside the National Stadium.
Fraser-Pryce will compete in the women's 200 metres at 6:55 p.m.
The Elite Performance Track Club athlete ran the fourth fastest time by a Jamaican woman in the event last year with 21.79 seconds. Also down to compete in the 200m is Tokyo Olympic Games 100 metres bronze medallist Shericka Jackson of MVP Track Club.
The field will also include Puma athlete Roneisha McGregor, SprintTec's Shashalee Forbes and MVP Track Club's Anthonique Strachan, Natasha Morrison and Stephenie Ann McPherson, the 2022 World Indoor 400m bronze medallist.
