The end of the road came for Jamaica's Under-17 national team in the Concacaf Women's Championship earlier today after the United States beat them 4-0 in the competition's quarterfinal at the Estadio Panamericano in San Cristóbal, Dominican Republic.

The United States asserted themselves as early as the third minute with a goal from their leading goalscorer Ammalia Villareal. The Jamaicans stayed in the contest until the 32nd minute when Charlotte Kohler doubled the lead.

The game would be really done and dusted 10 minutes later when Riley Jackson added the United States' third goal.

The second half was a more subdued affair with Melina Rebimbas' 56th-minute being the only goal of the 45 minutes.

The result means the United States move on to the semi-finals and Jamaica's dream of a first berth at the FIFA Women's World Cup in India later this year.
